I was responsible for the redesign of this existing product. This product is a show prep application for the Radio and TV industry where users can search for news articles and filter by the demographics of their listeners and viewers. I first performed a heuristic evaluation on the existing product and then created simple annotated wireframes to help visualize my thoughts for discussion. Because I couldn’t speak to end users, I leveraged internal SME’s to help guide my thoughts on how users used this product. I also used FullStory, which is a session based screen recording software, where I gained incredible insight on our users. I determined there were different ways in which different people like to digest information, ranging from highly analytical to those who prefer something more simple. In the UI I was able to accommodate both of these personas to allow for flexible digestion of information. Unfortunately I was not able to see this project through to the mockup phase.
